Complaints

At Fire Service Credit Union we do our best to provide a high level of service, however you may at times feel that there are issues that have not been resolved to your satisfaction.

If you have an issue or complaint you should contact us to advise us of the details of your complaint. You may contact us in writing, in person, by phoning us, or by completing our Online Enquiry Form. We encourage you to utilise this Internal Dispute Resolution process to resolve any complaints or issues you may have. We are committed to responding to your complaint in a way that is prompt, efficient and fair.

Most complaints will be able to be resolved satisfactorily immediately. If this is not possible, we will do our best to investigate your complaint, come to a decision, and communicate our decision to you in writing within 21 days of being advised of the complaint.

If we are not able to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction or 45 days have elapsed since you made your complaint, and you wish to take the matter further, our External Dispute Resolution scheme is available to you free of charge through our membership of an independent body, the Financial Ombudsman Service Ltd.
