Fire Service Credit Union began in 1972 with a handful of members and has now grown to over 3,000 members.
Credit Unions are financial co-operatives. The primary purpose of Credit Unions is not to maximise profits but rather to contribute to economic and social well-being of their members. We do this by encouraging savings and offering loans and other financial services that enable people to conduct their affairs with dignity and at the lowest possible cost.
When you join the Credit Union you automatically become an equal owner or shareholder of the Credit Union, with equal voting entitlements in the processes that elect the people responsible for governing your Credit Union's affairs.
Whilst Fire Service Credit Union offers many great products, we pride ourselves on our excellence in quality member service.
